Matthew Hegarty has served as Vice President and IT Support Specialist at Hegarty Investment Logic, LLC since 2021. In this role, he manages the firm’s technology infrastructure, ensuring secure systems, seamless client communications, and efficient day-to-day operations.
Matthew is a graduate of Aztec High School and the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, where he earned his degree in Business Consulting in 2015. He also pursued graduate studies in Prevention Science during a fifth year at the University of Oregon. While at Notre Dame (2011–2015) and Oregon (2015–2016), Matthew was the starting Center for both football programs, bringing discipline, leadership, and teamwork to the field—skills he continues to apply in his professional career.
His professional background includes a diverse mix of sales and financial services roles. Matthew began his career in 2017 with Yelp Sales in Chicago, then joined Fidelity Investments in Denver in 2018 as a Customer Relationship Advocate, earning his Series 7 and 63 licenses. In 2019, he became a Registered Financial Assistant with Summit Wealth, where he gained experience supporting client relationships before joining Hegarty Investment Logic.
Outside the office, Matthew is passionate about sustainable gardening, personal health, and exploring the outdoors. He enjoys hiking with his two rescue dogs, Kairos and Eleos, watching sports, and relaxing with a good computer game.
